Administration - Mission, Ministries, & Ministers
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God,
serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.
1 Peter 4:10
Our Mission
Stewards of God's Many Gifts As individuals and as a community of faith, we are good stewards of the many gifts we have received through God's grace and love. We respond to God's generosity by supporting God's work in the church and in the world.
Our Ministries
Stewardship & Finance
Stewardship Education
At St. Nicholas Church we believe that stewardship is about more than just money. Stewardship is about the choices we make about how we spend our lives in response to God's love and generosity. So we think of our stewardship program as an educational process, helping our people weigh the choices about how to wisely spend their time, talent, and treasure, realizing that all that we have and all that we are is not our own, but something that we hold in trust for God. For more information on our stewardship philosophy, click here. Contact: The Stewardship Chair.
Annual Estimated Giving Campaign
So for us at St. Nick's, the Estimated Giving Campaign is just one part of our stewardship, one of the important decisions we make about how to order our lives: What part of the financial resources that God has given us will we offer back in support of the Church? It takes place in the Fall of each year, and is generally completed by Thanksgiving, so that the Vestry can finalize the church's budget for the upcoming year. And your Giving Estimate helps them be better stewards of the resources we all entrust to them. Contact: The Stewardship Chair.
Submit a Giving Estimate Any Time
Of course, you don't have to wait until the Fall to make your Giving Estimate (or change it). To make a Giving Estimate during the year, complete the Giving Estimate form at the bottom of the Voice from the Pew, found in the service bulletin each Sunday, or click here.
Building Fund & Pledges
We also accept Building Fund pledges and offerings throughout the year. To make a Building Fund pledge, click here and select "Building Reserve" from the drop down menu.
Gifts and Memorials
There are many opportunities to make significant gifts in memory or honor of loved ones. Contact: The Gifts and Memorials Chair.
Gift Bricks Campaign
The St. Nick's Gift Bricks program allows you to support St. Nick's while honoring a living or departed loved one. To purchase Gift Bricks, click here.
Finance, Administration, and Human Resources Committee (FAHR)
This committee assists the leadership of the Church in financial planning, forcasting, and budgeting, with the development of administrative policies and procedures, and with human resources planning and recruiting. Contact: The FAHR Chair.
