Cost for Non-Member Weddings
Because we believe that the Celebration & Blessing of Marriage is public, sacramental act, done within the context of and with support of a community of faith, St. Nicholas Episcopal Church generally limits the Celebration & Blessing of Marriage to communicants (or their immediate families). And because we do not believe in imposing a fee for any sacramental act, we do not impose a fee for the Celebration & Blessing of Marriage for communicants.
However, there are ocassional circumstances underwhich the clergy will perform this sacramental act for non-communicants (for more information contact the clergy). In such circumstances, we charge a sufficient fee to cover the time spent by those involved.
These costs include:
Premarital Preparation (3-5 Sessions): $500
Rehersal and Wedding (Clergy): $300
Music at Rehearsal (Organist): $100
Music at Wedding (Organist): $200
Rental of Church (Rehearsal & Wedding Only): $400
The above fees are subject to change based on our costs.
